AMENITIES AND ACTIVITIES
When you choose Florence Park Care Center as your new home, you can enjoy some of your favorite pastimes. There are activities outside the facility, such as eating out at a local restaurant or riding around looking at the Christmas lights. If you prefer to stay at the facility, there is a morning club, happy hour, and bingo, in addition to parties for every occasion - even a visit from Elvis at Halloween.
Community churches provide mass and services, as well as communion and praying the rosary.
There are three dining rooms or if you prefer, you can eat in your room. A smaller, private room can be reserved by families for special occasions and private dinners.
There are squirrels and birds in the gazebo and garden areas. Friends of the Shelter bring animals to visit. Several residents have bird feeders outside their window or in a nearby tree.
